Dive into the fascinating world of the Alpine marmot, the undisputed star of our mountains! 🏔️
- To warn of danger, these adorable animals emit piercing whistles. Keep your ears open when you're hiking: there's a good chance you'll hear them! 👂
- Marmots live in close-knit families, where hierarchy and solidarity reign supreme.
- Their daily routine? Grooming, games, and the occasional argument (when they're not sleeping, of course!) 🛁
- Golden eagles and foxes are their main adversaries.
- They dig vast networks of galleries where they spend up to six months hibernating. That's why they disappear in winter: comfortably ensconced in the depths of their burrows, they await the return of fine weather. ❄️
- As for the snow, they happily leave it to the skiers, who never tire of it! ⛷️

The best time to observe them without disturbing them? When they emerge from their shelters to feed, in the morning or afternoon. 🌞
Finally, to preserve their health, it's essential not to feed them. Thank you for respecting their way of life! 💚
